Response to COVID-19

Updated: May 5, 2020

We love you – and your Fur babies. These polices are in place to protect our staff, guests (both human and 4-legged) during this time.

1. Entry Doors Will Be Locked

If you are bringing your dog to our facility for day camp, boarding, or grooming we will come out to your vehicle and get your dog and bring them inside ourselves. Likewise, upon leaving, we will bring the dogs out to your vehicles. This will limit the amount of person to person exposure for everyone as well as exposure to the facility. Please provide approximate drop off and pick up times as well as color and type of vehicle you have so our staff can watch for clients arriving. Feel free to honk your horn if you have been waiting for more than a few minutes.

2. No Same Day Drop Offs for Camp

We will be decreasing staff as attendance numbers are decreased during this time, so we need to know at least a few days ahead of time if you plan on bringing your dog. This will allow us to plan for enough staff to be on hand for the number of dogs that we are expecting each day.

3. Business Phone will not be turned on

We will check voicemail messages daily but do not call if you need to talk to someone promptly. Again, we will only be having a couple employees scheduled each day so they need to be watching the dogs and not screening phone calls all day. Text Dawn if you need to contact someone or message us on the Facebook page.

4. Credit Card Number Needed

All clients will need to give us a credit card number to use for billing day camp and boarding. We will not, for the time being, accept cash or checks. The ONLY exception is if you want to give us a one time payment up front for a certain dollar amount to put as a credit on file for future appointments, we will allow that once during this transition.

5. Increased Cleaning and Disinfecting Protocols

We pride ourselves on striving to maintain a clean and disinfected facility at all times, and in light of this pandemic we are disinfecting certain high contamination surfaces even more frequently during the day (I.e. door knobs, door handles, phones, countertops, toilet handles, faucet handles, light switches, computer keyboards and mouse, etc).

6. Temperament testing is suspended until further notice

We cherish ALL of our extremely loyal clients and their fur babies and ask for your understanding and cooperation during these unprecedented and, quite honestly, still very worrisome times. Praying our community and the entire nation can get back to living their lives very soon. Thanks for all your patronage and supporting Paws-a-Palooza. We want to be “Your Pet’s Happy Place” for a long time to come.
